Thai Buddhists celebrated the installment of a statue of Buddha at Wat Tulsa Hansen Dhammanusorn Temple on Thursday Augest 15, 2019.
Temple has been started since 2016 at 67th Street North and Trenton Avenue. Members of the temple practice Theravada Buddhism. The statue is eight feet tall, weighs nearly two tons and was placed on a five-foot concrete base.
